File Manager
You can use the File Manager for managing the directories and the files of the YOPY. You can
delete, copy, paste, move, compress, and partition the file(s) freely with this program.
Starting the file manager
Tap the Start icon ( ) ⇒ Tap “File Manager”

There are the functions moving/copying/pasting/deleting the file(s) and the function viewing the
registered information in the File Manager.
The followings are concerning the menu of the File Manager
File Menu
“
New
”
For creating a new directory or a new file in the current directory.
“Open”
For opening a file.
“Open with”
For selecting a program on which you want to perform a file.
“Delete”
For removing a file or a directory.
“Symlink”
The “Symlink” has a similar function as the “Link” of the Windows.
For the detailed information, see the below note.
“Quit”
For closing the program. (You can also use the End button of the Keypad.).
Note. Symlink
It works as the “Link” of the Windows does. Let’s try to link “/mnt/mmc” to “/home/root” using
“Symlink” as follows:
