The Handwriting Recognizer
You can enter the characters into the screen with the stylus using the Handwriting Recognizer just
like you write them on the paper.
You can selectively have the Screen Keyboard or the Handwriting Recognizer using the “Keyboard
Shift icon ( ) on the task bar of the screen.

There are two ways in entering the characters into the Handwriting Recognizer such as “Separate
Writing” and “Continuous Writing”.
Separate Writing
This box recognizes the data by the unit of one Character. The possible recognized kinds of
characters are capital and lowercase letters of English, numbers and special symbols. You must
put one character per box and the recognition of the character will be completed when you start to
write in another box or the unit time of recognizing process (Unit: 400msec) is passed.
When you enter an English letter on the box, a capital letter should be written on the capital and
