2.3 Configuring the Camera
Configure the high-speed camera and DL950.
For instructions on how to configure the DL950, see the User’s Manual, IM IS8000-01EN.
1.
On the Monitor tab ribbon that appears by carrying out the procedure in section 2.2, click
Overview Monitor
and
Device Control
to display the Overview panel and Device Control panel.

In the Device Control panel, set
Devices
to DL950. The DL950 settings appear.
Set the following items.
For details on the DL950 configuration window, see the description of the Device Control panel in
chapter 5 of the
User’s Manual
, IM IS8000-01EN.

Trigger Out:
Pulse
•
Pulse Width:
50ms
•
External Sample:
Freerun
•
Pulse Rate:
Frequency corresponding to the record rate (FPS) of the high-speed camera

In the Device Control panel, set
Devices
to the camera. The camera settings appear.

Click the camera setting boxes, and select or set the values.
You will specify the settings required for synchronization in the Sync. Setting window on the next page.
Those settings are applied to the Device Control settings.

The DL950 and camera
are synchronized.
When you set

the camera, you can
configure the camera.
Synchronize the camera to
the DL950 according to the
procedure in section 2.4.

The camera video appears when
you click
Video
on the
Video
tab.
When they are not synchronized
If you connected the DL950 and camera separately, they will not be synchronized. In this case, you
need to synchronize them. Open the DL950 overview panel, and carry out the following procedure.

When you move the cursor over the camera displayed in the Device list ,

appears on the
right.

Click
[...]
, and select
Start Coaxial
from the menu that appears.
