The High-speed Camera Synchronization Option is a video and waveform viewer software that
displays waveforms measured by a waveform measuring instrument and video shot by a high-
speed camera in sync based on triggers and enables analysis of the data.
The trigger signal and sample clock generated by the measuring instrument is applied to the high-
speed camera.
The waveforms and video are displayed in sync on a PC monitor by loading the measured
waveform data and the high-speed camera’s video and shooting information data.
1 For information on compatible high-speed cameras, see section 5.1 in this manual.
2 For information on compatible YOKOGAWA waveform measuring instruments, see section 5.3 in this
manual.
3 The maximum size of a video data file (.avi) that can be loaded from a camera into the PC is less than
4 GB. A video data file greater than 4 GB can be loaded using offline synchronization.
