9.1 Monitor
Port
Connecting the monitor port on the ASi Master module to a PC using an RS-232C cable
allows a user to change the operating mode of the module, as well as display and
register slaves to the list of projected list on the module.

CAUTION
Do not connect to the monitor port during production operation, as this will affect normal
module operation.
By running a monitoring or configuration program, operations can be performed from a
standard terminal emulator such as a PC.
Use a RS-232C cross cable (with a D-SUB 9-pin connector at the F3LA01-0N end) to
connect to the monitor port.

Start a terminal emulator software application on the PC.
You may use the HyperTerminal application, which is included as a standard accessory
software application in the Microsoft windows operating system.
Set the parameters of Hyperterminal as follows.
