Open the instrument’s optical input connector cover.

Connect the optical fiber’s optical connector to the optical input connector on the
instrument.

. The soft key menu is displayed.

soft key. The soft key menu switches.

Press the
FIBER CORE SIZE
soft key. Pressing the key repeatedly toggles
between SMALL and LARGE. If the core diameter of the fiber under test is 100
µm or less, choose SMALL. If larger than 100 µm, choose LARGE.
