The sensor element of this instrument contains indium gallium
arsenide (InGaAs). InGaAs powder and vapor is hazardous.
Therefore, never incinerate, destroy, break, grind, or apply
chemicals to the instrument. Keep separate from general industrial
or household waste, and dispose of the instrument according to
relevant local laws.
Do not plug too many cords into a single power supply outlet.
=> Heating of the cables or fire can result.
Never bend, twist, or pull cables forcefully.
=> Fire or electric shock can result.
If the power cord becomes damaged, have it replaced immediately
by the dealer from which you purchased the instrument.
