6. The device begins preheating. Wait until the heating indicator turns blue. It means that the preheating
is finished. Make sure that the one cup indicator is no longer dimming, and then press
.
Water will
flow out. The device will stop its operation automatically.
MAKE ESPRESSO
1. Perform the device preheating procedure described in the PREHEATING section.
2. Remove the funnel by turning it to the left.
3. Set correct steel mesh into metal funnel.
4. Add ground coffee to steel mesh with measuring spoon, then press the ground coffee powder tightly
with the tamper.
5. Set metal funnel under the metal funnel holder and turn it to the right until it is fixed tightly.
6. Pour out the hot water in the espresso cup. Then place the hot cup on the cup heating plate.
Note
: As the appliance is not equipped with any cup or jug, prepare your own cup.
7. Place the cup on the drip tray. Make sure that the steam knob is at the
“O” position.
8. Wait until the heating indicator turns blue. It means that the preheating is finished.
9. Make sure that the one cup and two cup indicator are no longer dimming, and then press
or
. Coffee will come out. Wait until coffee stops flowing out.
10. Press
to turn off the device. Your coffee is ready.
WARNING:
do not leave the coffee maker unattended during making coffee, as you need operate
manually sometimes!
Note:
During brewing coffee or making steam, it is normal that the ready indicator is likely to
extinguish, it only means that the heater is heating up to keep the temperature at the standard range.
11. You can take the metal funnel out by turning to the left, then pour the coffee residue out with the steel
mesh pressed by press bar.
WARNING:
To clean the unit after preparing coffee follow these instructions: Unplug the device. Some metal
parts may still be hot, do not touch them until they have cooled down. Wash the porta-filter
and filter using warm water with dish soap, rinse it carefully and dry off. Do not wash in a dishwasher. Wipe
coffee remains off the upper part of the head. You may use a damp cloth or a paper towel. Place portafilter
(without a filter installed) in the head. Place a cup under porta-filter nozzles. Turn on the device, and then wait
until the heating indicator turns blue. Make sure that the one cup indicator is no longer dimming, and then
press
. Water will flow out. Wait until water stops flowing out.
