7. SOS Emergency Calls
The Personal Tracker comes with an SOS emergency button, which
can be pressed to notify contact persons about current location and
automatically place a call to the main contact.
Press the second (middle) button and
hold for 2 seconds to place an
emergency call.
The SOS LED will turn on to indicate
that data is being sent to the Control
Base.
The device will send an alarm message and GPS coordinates to the
Control Base. The Control Base software will find the street name
and closest intersection from a map server and send these details
through SMS short messages to all Contact numbers, with the text
(

The Personal Tracker will then automatically dial a phone call to
main Contact number.
To end the SOS call, press the first or third button on the device.
After placing the SOS phone call, the Personal Tracker will
automatically start tracking and update GPS positions to the
Control Base every 60 seconds over a period of 30 minutes.
Tracking can be stopped during that time from the Control Base
or Tracking Website.

8. Monitoring Features
Users are able to setup and configure monitoring activities and alerts
to the Personal Tracker, using Control Base software or Tracking
Web services via Internet Explorer or mobile on GPRS enabled cell
phones.
Geo-Fence Alarms
If the device has been configured with a set of restricted
geographic areas (Geo-Fences), the following activities will be
triggered when a Geo-Fence violation occurs:
The Personal Tracker will send an alarm message and GPS
coordinates to the Control Base. The Control Base software will
find the street name and closest intersection from a map server and
send these details through SMS short messages to the list of
authorized Contact persons, with the text:
The Geo-Fence alert and location updates will be repeated every 60
min if the device still stayed in the restricted area.
Maximum Speed Alarms
If the device has been configured with a maximum speed limit, the
following activities will be triggered when the moving speed
exceeds the speed limit:
