3.  Preparations

  

 

 

In order to use the Personal Tracker, the following preparations 
should be carried out: 
 
Prepare one operational GSM SIM card. Make sure that the SIM card 
can operate without PIN protection (ask the GSM operator to do this). 
Ask the GSM operator for the SMSC (SMS Service Center) number. 
Empty the SMS storage of the SIM card using operational GSM phone 
(please refer your GSM phone manual to do this). 
 

1.  Remove the back cover of the Personal 

tracker by pressing down the rounded 
edge of the battery release button and 
push the cover downwards.  

 

 
2.  Insert the SIM card into the SIM slot in 

the direction as shown in picture until it 
is engaged. 
(To remove the SIM card later, push it

3.  Place the battery in the compartment. 
 
 
 
 
 
4.  Replace the cover and let it snap in 

completely. 

 
 
Closing the battery cover will automatically power up the device. 
Removing the cover will disconnect the battery.

Power/ GSM LED (green)

 

 

If LED is on: 

Device is powered on 

 

If LED flashes: 

Device is registered to GSM network, able to send/ 
receive SMS and place or receive phone calls  

 

If LED is off for a period of time: 

Device is communicating with Control Base or 
Contact numbers 

 

GPS/ GPRS LED (red) 

 

If LED flashes: 

Device has GPS lock 

 

If LED stays on for a period of time: 

Device is dialing GPRS service. If connected, LED 
will flash several times if connection to Control 
Base was successful. Will repeat if not successful. 

 

SOS LED (red) 

 

When SOS button been pressed for 2 seconds, will turn 
on. 

 

All three LED flashing repeatedly and simultaneously 
indicate battery low. Please charge battery.
