EMScanner columns are indicated by letters and all prior models’ columns
are indicated by numbers. Check box Display Letter for Scanner for the software to display
columns with letters to match your scanner grid format.

Probe Compensation:
This feature will take the calibration data for each of the 1218 probes
and apply it to measured signals. You can select Peaks or All data. Compensation will
normalize the individual probe response across the operating frequency and compensate for
the antenna response and the air, switches and path losses. It is turned OFF by default as it
only matters for far-field prediction and comparison with handheld or automated probe
measurements.
Compensation can be quite high at some frequencies. If you select Peaks, noise peaks
above the threshold are compensated while the noise floor is not, making any peak look like
strong signals. If there is any doubt as to whether a compensated peak is in fact present,
turn off the compensation altogether or select All data.
Project Node Settings
To select Project Node settings, either click on in the main control bar or right click on the
Project Node and then left click on Settings. Nodes will inherit settings from project settings
e.g. start/stop frequency, RBW, amplitude adjustment, overlay etc. To change settings of a
scan, select the scan and click or right click on the scan and select Settings.
