Call Features

Procedure

Press the MUTE key when the phone is idle.

The mute key LED glows red and the mute icon appears on the Idle screen.

Press the MUTE key again to deactivate the mute state.

Call Hold

You can place an active call on hold and resume the call when you are ready. When you place a call on hold, your IP

PBX may play music to the other party while waiting.

Press the HOLD key or

Hold

during a call.

The LCD screen indicates that the call is on hold.

The phone ignores engaged audio device (handset or headset) and plays beep in the Speakerphone (hands-free) mode

by default. The Speakerphone key will light up for 1 second along with the beep.

Note

The phone plays beep of a specified frequency softly to remind you that you still have a call on hold. Your system admin-

istrator can customize the frequency and configure when to play beep.
