Can the headset reconnect to the device if it returns to

Yes. If you exceed the range within 5 minutes, the headset will
actively try to reconnect to the Bluetooth device when you return
to the range.
If you remain out of range for 5 minutes or longer, you will need
to press the power key to trigger the headset's automatic
reconnection function when you move back to the range.
