PRODUCT SERVICE
After mounting the both elements you should connect the cable plug, which is coming out of the solar panel into the socket in the
re
fl
ector housing. Before the
fi
rst use, you should charge the battery lamps, for this purpose the lamp should be left connected
to the panel for a period of two to three days. During the battery charging, the spotlight switch must be in the “OFF” position. After
this period the spotlight is ready for use.
The spotlight switch can be set in three positions.
“OFF” - the lamp turned o
ff
, it will not light. The battery is charged.
“ON” - the lamp is lit all the time, regardless of the motion sensor setting.
“AUTO” - the lamp is switched by the motion sensor.
Adjusting the motion sensor
Sensitivity means the maximum distance, with which the sensor can work. Rotation of the knob clockwise increases the speed,
and a counter-clockwise decreases it.
The length of time, through which the device will remain on after its switching on, can be adjusted in the range from 8 seconds to
8 minutes. Counter clockwise rotation of the knob increases the speed, and clockwise rotation increases it.
Attention! When the light is switched on by the sensor, each subsequent motion detection will make the time counting from the
start.
The control module for a lighting level has built-in a sensor device (photocell) which detects light and darkness.
You can set the sensor by using the knob marked “LUX”. A sun symbol indicates that the load will be
enabled by the sensor, both day and night. A moon symbol indicates that the device will be switched on only at night.
ATTENTION! Delay of the device switching on, in relation to the time of switching on its power, is a normal phenomenon.
In the absence of sunlight for a period longer than three months, the lamp battery may be discharged. In this case, before using
the lamp it should be charged by using the solar panel.
The charging time shown in the table is given for an uninterrupted exposure of the solar panel to sunlight. In the case of cloud
cover the sun charging time may be longer, and the lamp e
ffi
ciency may be lower than it is indicated in the table.
The battery, which is built it the lamp , does not have a so-called. “memory e
ff
ect” and it can be recharged at any time. Each cycle
of charging and discharging gradually reduces battery performance. The battery can withstand about 500 charge and discharge
cycles. When the lamp is not used for a period longer than three months you should fully charge the battery, and then turn o
ff
the
lamp by moving the switch in “OFF” position. It is recommended that in such a case, you should remove the lamp to protect the
solar panel. The lamp should be stored in dry and dark place with good ventilation. The lamp should be stored in the supplied
individual packages ,
MAINTENANCE OF THE PRODUCT
The product should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth, moistened with clean water. Especially you should clean the surface
of the solar panel, shade of the lamp and its motion sensor. You should always pay attention that the solar panel would be not
obscured, eg. by snow or fallen leaves. The product should not be cleaned by immersion in water. For cleaning you should not
use solvents, aggressive agents, abrasives and solvents.
You should not disassemble the product yourself. In case you need to repair it, you should consult the authorized service depot.
