Connect the tester power supply clamps to the battery contacts. Make sure to keep the correct polarity. First, connect the “-”
marked black tester clamp to the “-” marked battery contact. Next, connect the “+” marked red tester clamp to the “+” marked
battery contact.
Locate the injector you want to test and disconnect its power supply from the vehicle system. Then connect the test clamps to
the injector contacts.
Press the mode button marked “MODE SET” to select one of the available test modes. The display will show the selected mode
number.
Mode 1: in this mode, after pressing the pulse button marked “PULSE” the tester will emit one pulse, approx. 250 ms long.
Mode 2: in this mode, after pressing the pulse button marked “PULSE” the tester will emit 50 pulses, approx. 7 ms long each.
Mode 3: in this mode, after pressing the pulse button marked “PULSE” the tester will emit 100 pulses, approx. 3.5 ms long each.
Mode 4: in this mode, after pressing the pulse button marked “PULSE” the tester will start a continuous pulse emission with a
frequency of 50 pulses for approx. 1450 ms. Each pulse will be approx. 7 ms long. Pressing the pulse button again stops the
pulse emission.
After setting the selected mode, press the pulse button marked “PULSE”, the tester will emit the selected mode pulses, which will
be con fi rmed by the pulse indicator lighting up.
If necessary, you can repeat the test by pressing the pulse button again.
If you want to change the test mode, press the exit button marked “ESC” to end the previously selected mode, and then press the
mode button until the correct test mode is selected.
In case of an undamaged injector, the operation of its valve will be heard, matching the rhythm of pulses emitted by the tester.
DEVICE MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Clean the tester housing with a slightly damp cloth (water) and wipe it dry. Never immerse the tester in water or other liquids.
Keep the tester clamps clean. If there are signs of corrosion or patina, clean the metal parts with a cleaning agent for the copper
electrical terminals.
Store the tester separately so that it is not exposed to impacts, e.g. from other tools in the toolbox. The storage area should be
shaded and well ventilated. It should also protect against unauthorised access, especially by children.
This symbol indicates that waste electrical and electronic equipment (including batteries and storage cells) cannot be disposed of with other types of
waste. Waste equipment should be collected and handed over separately to a collection point for recycling and recovery, in order to reduce the amount
of waste and the use of natural resources. Uncontrolled release of hazardous components contained in electrical and electronic equipment may pose a
risk to human health and have adverse e ff ects for the environment. The household plays an important role in contributing to reuse and recovery, including
recycling of waste equipment. For more information about the appropriate recycling methods, contact your local authority or retailer.
