TME2
Transformer Temperature DI Fault
A fault was detected from a contact input terminal (transformer overheat) on the control
board.
Cause
Possible Solutions
Cooling fan fault possibly due to inadequate
cooling airflow
If the cooling airflow is inadequate, replace the cooling fan.
The intake filter is soiled.
Clean the intake filter.
Overheated transformer and disconnected signal
line
If the problem occurs at a low temperature, for example immediately after applying power,
contact Yaskawa or your nearest sales representative.

TME3
Transformer Temperature Sensor Disconnection
Transformer temperature = -30
°
C or lower for 10 continuous seconds
Cause
Possible Solutions
Disconnection of the transformer temperature
sensor cable detected.
• Check the transformer temperature sensor cable.
• Fix the disconnection.

Undertorque Detection 1
The current has fallen below the minimum value set for torque detection (L6-02) for longer than
the allowable time (L6-03).
Cause
Possible Solutions
Parameter settings are not appropriate for the
load.
Check the settings of parameters L6-02 and L6-03.
Fault on the machine side
Example: If there is undertorque, the pulley belt
may be broken.
Check the status of the machine.
Remove the cause of the fault.

Undertorque Detection 2
The current has fallen below the minimum value set for torque detection (L6-05) for longer than
the allowable time (L6-06).
Cause
Possible Solutions
Parameter settings are not appropriate for the
load.
Check the settings of parameters L6-05 and L6-06.
Fault on the machine side
Example: If there is undertorque, the pulley belt
may be broken.
Check the load for any problems.
Remove the cause of the fault.

Mechanical Weakening Detection 2
The operation conditions matched the conditions set to L6-08.
Cause
Possible Solutions
Undertorque was detected and matched the
conditions for mechanical loss detection set to
L6-08.
Check the load side for any problems.
