STAGE 3: GATE INSTALLATION

• Determine which post will be the latch post and which will be
the hinge post.
• Loosely install top post hinge with pin pointing up approximately
8˝ from the top of the hinge post (Fig. 19).
• Loosely install self-closing post hinge with pin pointing up
approximately 10˝ from the bottom of the hinge post (Fig. 19).
• Loosely install top gate hinge to gate frame approximately 7˝
from the top of the hinge post (Fig. 19).
• Loosely install self-closing gate hinge to gate frame approxi
-
mately 7˝ from the bottom of the gate (Fig. 19).
• Align the gate by placing it level with the top of the fence.
Adjust the hinges to allow for full swing. Tighten all hinges.
• Install gate latch to the gate frame at the desired height. Install
PVC Post Protector to the latch post at where latch will close.
