This Owner's Manual describes safety symbols, international symbols, and diagrams that may appear on the Blower/Vac.
Read the Owner's Manual carefully in order to understand the safety rules, the assembly, operating, and maintenance
instructions, and the repair information.

WARNING - READ THE
OWNER'S MANUAL
Read the Owner's Manual, and
follow all warnings and safety
instructions. Failure to do so may
result in serious injury to the opera-
tor and/or to others.
WEAR EYE AND HEARING
PROTECTION
WARNING:
Thrown objects and
loud noise can cause severe eye
injury and hearing loss. Wear eye
protection that meets ANSI Z87.1-
1989 standards, along with ear
protection, when operating this
Blower/Vac. Use a full face shield
when necessary.
THROWN OBJECTS AND THE
ROTATING BLADE CAN
CAUSE SEVERE INJURY
WARNING:
Keep clear of the
blower outlet. Do not point the
Blower/Vac in the direction of the
operator or others. Objects can be
thrown from the blower. Do not
operate the Blower/Vac without
proper attachments and guards in
place.
DO NOT USE THIS TOOL IN THE
RAIN
WARNING:
Avoid
dangerous
environments. Do not operate the
Blower/Vac in the rain, or in damp or
wet conditions. Moisture is a shock
hazard.
BLOWERS – ROTATING IMPEL-
LER BLADES CAN CAUSE
SEVERE INJURY
WARNING:
Stop the engine and
allow the impeller to stop before
opening the vacuum door, installing
or changing tubes or bags, and
before cleaning or performing any
maintenance.
KEEP BYSTANDERS AWAY
WARNING:
Keep all bystanders,
especially children and pets, at least
50' (15 m.) away from the operating
area.
