Chain brake and front hand guard
Your chain saw is equipped with a chain brake that is designed to stop the chain if you get a
kickback. The chain brake reduces the risk of accidents, but only you can prevent them.
1. In case of strong kickback ,the brake will engaged automatically by the inertia and the
chain will stop immediately.
2. In case of a less strong kickback , the left hand will come into contact with front hand
guard to stop the chain immediately .
Before each use , check the function of The chain brake .
1. Push front hand guard forward and start the chain saw. The chain must not start .
2. To deactivate the brake , release on/off switch and Pull hand guard toward the front
handle.
WARNING :
if the chain brake does not work properly , do not use the chainsaw ,
contact a qualified service center.
NOTE!
If you have no oil available, use chain lubrication oil with low adhesive additiv-
content. The type of motor oil SAE 10W-30 is recommended.
Push stroke
As shown in
Fig14
This technique involves sawing from bottom to
top with the top side of the saw rail. The saw
chain pushes the product backwards and to-
wards the user. If the saw rail twists, the product
can be flung towards the user at high force. If
the user does not counteract the reward force of
the saw chain using their body strength, there is
a risk that only the tip of the saw rail will make
contact with the wood, hence causing a kick-
back.
