j). Do not connect a damaged cord to the supply or

Special safety directions for battery-operated
tools
a). Do not expose the battery to strong sunlight or a
hot environment over a long period of time.
Heat
damages the battery and there is a risk of explosion.
b). Allow a hot battery to cool before charging.
c). Do not open up the battery.
Risk of short circuiting,
and fumes may be emitted that irritate the respiratory
tract. In the case of inhaling, ensure you get fresh air
quickly and seek medical assistance in the event of
discomfort.
Safety directions for the battery charger
a). The charger must only be connected to a mains
socket via a residual-current circuit breaker (RCD)
with a rated leakage current of not more than 30
mA.
b). Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out
