Rear brake adjustment
The rear brake lever free play should
be adjusted to 10 ~ 20 mm
(0.4 ~ 0.8 in) at the brake lever end.
Adjustment is accomplished at the
brake hub. To adjust, turn the adjuster
clockwise to reduce play or
counterclockwise to increase play.

Front brake adjustment
The front brake lever should have a free
play of 10 ~ 20 mm (0.4 ~ 0.8 in) at the
lever end. If not, ask a Yamaha dealer
to adjust it.

An incorrect free play indicates a
hazardous condition in the brake
system. Do not operate the scooter
until the failure in the brake system
is corrected. Ask a Yamaha dealer
for immediate repairs.
