Tire Wear Limit
Check the tire surface for damage, cracks or embed-
ded objects. When tire tread wears down to 3 mm
(0.12 in), replace the tire.

STEERING SYSTEM
Check the steering system for excessive free play by:
• moving the steering wheel up and down, and back
and forth.
• turning the steering wheel slightly to the right and
left.
If you feel excessive free play, or hear rattling sounds
which may indicate loose steering components, con-
sult a Yamaha dealer.
