To adjust the volume
You can adjust the volume of all
the sounds and voices emitted and
picked up by the unit.
On the [Phone] screen, touch [Volume].
The [Volume] screen appears.
The screen is identical to the one which
is displayed by the following procedure:
1. Go to [Setting] menu.
2. Touch the category selector
[Communi.].
3. Touch

4. Touch [Volume].
For details on how to use the [Volume]
screen, see “To adjust the volume” on
page 11-22.
To make settings for voice commu-
nication
You can adjust the microphone sensitivity
of rider’s headset and pas senger’s
headset.
1. Go to [Setting] menu.
2. Touch the category selector
[Communi.].
3. On the [Communi.] setting menu,
touch [Vox].
The [Vox] screen appears.
TIP
With the Vox function, the intercom
function is activated immediately after
you have made a speech.
To adjust the microphone sensitivity
of rider’s headset
1. O n t h e [ Vo x ] s c r e e n , t o u c h
[Vox for rider headset] so that a
checkmark is added.
This enables adjustment of the
microphone sensitivity of rider’s
headset.
2. Touch
or
to change the
microphone sensitivity of the
rider’s headset.
The adjustable range is from
0/17 to 17/17.
To disable adjustment, touch
[Vox for rider headset] again so
that the checkmark is removed.
To adjust the microphone sensitivity
of passenger’s headset
1. On the [Vox] screen, touch [Vox
for passenger headset] so that
a checkmark is added.
This enables adjustment of the
microphone sensitivity of pas-
senger’s headset.
