CB (citizens band) radio com-
munication
If a CB radio device is connected to
the vehicle, you can make CB radio
communication.
To call up the CB radio communi-
cation screen
1. O p e n t h e [ C o m m u n i c a t i o n ]
menu.
See “[Communication] menu”
on page 8-1.
2. Touch [CB Radio].

To turn on/off the CB radio communi-
cation
If the CB radio communication is
turned off, touch [ON] to turn it on.
The [ON] button changes to [OFF].
Touch [OFF] to turn the CB radio
communication off.

The passenger can also turn on the
CB radio communication by pressing
and holding the talk button

To change the channel
Use the
button.
Touch
to change the channel
to lower frequency, and touch
to change the channel to higher
frequency.
Note that when CH1 is selected and
you touch
, CH40 will be selected;
when CH40 is selected and you touch
, CH1 will be selected.
To preset the currently selected chan-
nel
Touch [Add preset], and then a place
in the preset channels list where you
want to add the channel.
The channel will be added to the
preset channels list.
To adjust squelch sensitivity
You can adjust the squelch sensitibity
o f t h e C B r a d i o d e v i c e s o t h a t
the best possible communication
condition is obtained.
