Check fuel pressure.

Start the engine and let it idle
for approximately 10 sec-
onds.
Check the condition of the
fault code using the malfunc-
tion mode of the Yamaha di-
agnostic tool.
Condition is “Recover”
→
Go
to item 8 and finish the ser-
vice.
Condition is “Malfunction”
→
Go to item 6.
Also, delete this fault code,
which has a condition of
“Malfunction”.

sensor.
Check the O
2
sensor.
Replace if defective.

AL” in chapter 5. (Manual

Start the engine and let it idle

Replace the ECU.

Service is finished.

Delete the fault code and
check that the engine trouble
warning light goes off.
Confirm that the fault code
has a condition of “Recover”
using the Yamaha diagnostic
tool, and then delete the fault
code.
