TIP
When using the differential gear lock (“DIFF. LOCK”), the differential gear lock indicator light
and the drive train icon will flash until the differential gear lock properly engages/disengages.
When the differential gear lock indicator light and the drive train icon are flashing, turning the
steering wheel back and forth will help the differential gear lock to engage or disengage.
Driving with the differential gear not properly engaged or disengaged (e.g., when the differential
gear lock indicator light and the drive train icon are flashing) will cause the vehicle speed to be
limited until the differential gear is completely engaged or disengaged.
To protect the drivetrain from damage, maximum vehicle speed is limited to approximately 65
km/h (40 mi/h) when in “DIFF. LOCK” mode.
