Helmets
Operating this vehicle without an ap-
proved motorcycle helmet increases
your chances of a severe head injury or
death in the event of an accident. The
majority of fatalities from motorcycle or
scooter accidents are the result of head
injuries. The use of a safety helmet is
the single most critical factor in the pre-
vention or reduction of head injuries.
Always select an approved
motorcycle helmet
Pay attention to the following when
choosing a motorcycle helmet.
●
The helmet must meet the safety
standard “TIS”.
●
The helmet size must match the
size of the rider’s head.
●
Never subject a helmet to heavy
shocks.
Wearing the helmet correctly
Always connect the chin strap. In the
case of an accident, the helmet has a
much less chance of coming off if the
chin strap is connected.
