NHB32-C
Following test items are tested one after another each time the “ENTER” key of the keyboard is pressed.
13 SW1 : SWITCH input test
Automatic judgment
Press the switches on the front panel in the order of [RECALL]
→
[
]
→
[
]
→
[WORD CLOCK] according
to the instruction on the screen.
14 LED : LED lighting test
1. Check that LED’s on the front panel light up in the order as shown below.
2. Check that the 7 seg. LED’s light one by one in the order of “0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, .”
3. Check that all LED’s light up at the end.
15 THR : Audio signal test
Set PATCH of NHB32-C (for jigs) to “01”.
Check the input level of SLOT 1 and SLOT2 of DME32 (16 channels in all) at SLOT 3 (MY4-DA).
Check that the analog output of MY4-DA is 1kHz, +4dBu
±
2dB.
Monitor the CH1 input of SLOT1 with the oscilloscope and check that the sine wave is free from disturbance.
Hear the CH1 input of SLOT 1 through the powered speaker, etc. and check that it is free from distortion and
noise.
Monitor the CH1 input of SLOT2 with the oscilloscope and check that the sine wave is free from disturbance.
Hear the CH1 input of SLOT 2 through the powered speaker, etc. and check that it is free from distortion and
noise.
Reconnect the LAN cable (CAT5: cross cable) to the CobraNet [SECONDARY] side.
Set PATCH of NHB32-C (for jigs) to “02”.
Check the input level of SLOT 1 and SLOT 2 of DME32 (16 channels in all) at SLOT 3 (MY4-DA).
Check that the analog output of MY4-DA is 1kHz, +4dBu

2dB.
Monitor the CH1 input of SLOT1 with the oscilloscope and check that the sine wave is free from disturbance.
Hear the CH1 input of SLOT 1through the powered speaker, etc. and check that it is free from distortion and
noise.
Monitor the CH1 input of SLOT2 with the oscilloscope and check that the sine wave is free from disturbance.
Hear the CH1 input of SLOT 2 through the powered speaker, etc. and check that it is free from distortion and
noise.
Using the BNC cable, connect the WORD CLOCK OUT terminal of DME32 and the [WORD CLOCK IN] terminal
of NHB32-C to be tested.
Select “05” for PATCH of NHB32-C for jigs.
Press the “ENTER” key of the keyboard.
Check the input level of SLOT1 and SLOT2 of DME32 (16 channels in all) at SLOT3 (MY4-DA).
The analog output of MY4-DA should be 1KHz, +4dBu

2dB.
Make settings for PATCH “05” of NHB32-C for jigs as follows.
CH1 to CH8 input of [AES/EBU 1] is output to CH1 to CH8 of CobraNet.
CH1 to CH8 input of [AES/EBU 2] is output to CH9 to CH16 of CobraNet.
CH1 to CH8 input of CobraNet is output to CH1 to CH8 of [AES/EBU 1].
CH9 to CH16 input of CobraNet is output to CH1 to CH8 of [AES/EBU 2].
Set MASTER CLOCK to “NETWORK”.
