Restricting access to functions (Lock function)

To change/reset the password
Follow the procedure below to change/reset the password for the Lock function.

Follow the procedure below to change the password. Please note that the password is
case-sensitive.

Select “Top Menu”
➞
“System Setup”
➞
“Lock function”.
The password entry screen appears.

and SELECT to enter the current password, and then
select “OK” and press SELECT.
To cancel entering the password, select “Cancel” and press SELECT.
The menu selection screen appears.

to select “Change password” and press SELECT.
The Change password screen appears.
Passwords must contain between
5 and 14 alphanumeric
characters.
The default password is “mcx-
1000”. Please note that the
password is case-sensitive.
Reset the password to the default
setting (see page 8).
