3. Install :

• Small end bearing
• Piston

• Piston pin

• Piston pin clip

NOTE:

• The arrow a on the piston to the exhaust side.
• Before installing the piston pin clip, cover the

crankcase with a clean towel or rag so you will
not accidentally drop the pin clip material into
the crankcase.

• Always use a new piston pin clip.

CYLINDER AND CYLINDER HEAD

1. Install :

• Cylinder gasket (new gasket)

2. Check :

• Piston rings

1st ring

2nd ring

NOTE:

Make sure the ring ends

are properly fitted

around the ring locating pins

in the piston

grooves.

3. Install :

• Cylinder

NOTE:

Install the cylinder with one hand while
compressing the piston rings with the other
hand.
