CHARGING SYSTEM

3. Charging voltage

• Connect the engine tachometer to the spark

plug lead.

• Connect the pocket tester (DC20V) to the

battery terminals.

Pocket tester (+) lead

→

Battery (+) terminals

Pocket tester (-) lead

→

Battery (-) terminals

• Start the engine and accelerate to about

5.000 rpm.

• Check the charging voltage.

Charging voltage:

14 ~ 15V at 5.000 r/min

NOTE:

Use a fully charged battery.
