4.3. Installing an SFP module
You can install an SFP module to the SFP+ ports of this product.
Caution
• Attach the dust covers onto the SFP+ ports that are not in use. Failing to do so
could allow foreign objects to enter, causing malfunctions. When you take the
dust covers off, keep them in a safe place to avoid misplacing them.

1. Remove the dust cover that is affixed to this product’s SFP+ port, and insert the SFP module.
