Remove the bolts

Pull out the propeller shaft housing
assembly.

Disassembling the propeller shaft
assembly

Remove the spring

, and then remove

the cross pin

, dog clutch

shift plunger

, and shift rod joint

Disassembling the propeller shaft
housing

Remove the reverse gear and reverse
gear shim(s).

Remove the ball bearing.

CAUTION:

Do not reuse the bearing, always replace
it with a new one.
