* Please note that the data of the following types cannot be saved.
• Protected songs (except those with a “Prot.2” indication which can be transferred by using another method)
• Log-in information (ID, password)
• MAC address

Insert a USB fl ash memory into the USB TO DEVICE jack.

Press the [FUNCTION] button to call up the [UTILITY] (J) display and select the <OWNER> screen by using
the TAB [

] buttons.

Select the [BACKUP] (D) and follow the instructions displayed on the screen. The data then can be saved in
the USB fl ash memory.
RETURNING USER DATA TO MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
* To return the protected songs (those with a “Prot. 2” indication) to the musical instrument, be sure to perform
the following procedure before transferring songs.

Insert a USB fl ash memory (with the backup data saved in it) into the USB TO DEVICE jack.

Press the [FUNCTION] button to call up the [UTILITY] (J) display and select the <OWNER> screen by using
the TAB [

] buttons.

Select the [RESTORE] (E) and follow the instructions displayed on the screen. The user data then can be
returned to the musical instrument.
