compressing the piston rings with the other
hand.

ENGINE ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTEMENT

• Cylinder head gaskets (new gaskets)

5. Install :
• Cylinder head

• Spark plug

• Thermostat

NOTE:

• Tighten the cylinder head holding nuts in stages,
and crisscross sequence.
• The arrow on the cylinder head must point to
the front.

Nut (cylinder head) :

14 Nm (1.4 m.kg)

Spark plug :

20 Nm (2.0 m.kg)

Thermostat :

16 Nm (1.6 m.kg)

6. Install :
