CHECKING THE SIGNAL SYSTEM

1. The turn signal light, turn signal indicator

light, hazard or both fail to blink.

Check the turn signal light bulb and socket
for continuity.

S

Are the turn signal light bulbs and socket OK?

NO

YES

Replace the turn 
signal light bulb,
socket or both.

2. Turn signal switch

S

Check the turn signal switch for continuity.
Refer to “CHECKING THE SWITCHES”.

Is the turn signal switch OK?

NO

YES

Replace the left 
handlebar switch.

Does the hazard relay have continuity?

Replace the hazard
relay.

4. Hazard relay (for EUR)

Remove the hazard relay from the wire har-
ness.

Connect the pocket tester (
