SECURE THE HITCH WITH PIN AND SAFETY CLIP.
• Attach safety clip to end of pin.
Test the hitch installation by pulling and twisting
the arm. If it comes out, repeat the installation.

If the lanyard interferes with any moving parts,
it can be cut and removed from the hitch.
Thread the safety strap through the bike
frame and clasp the loop on the arm.

UNCLASP THE PIN
and remove it
from the hitch
(if it is installed).

Attach hitch to the side
of the bike without the
drive-train (gears).
TURN THE SOCKET TO A SHARP ANGLE,
LANYARD FACING OUT:
• Make sure the hitch socket is free of debris
• The ball on the end of the skewer must nest
completely inside the hitch.
