GENERAL
The FTV-90 1R i s an all-n ew transv ert er for t he FT-90 1DM and FT- lO lZD seri es, capabl e o f op er ation
on t he 50, 1 44, and 4 3 0 MHz ban ds. The basic unit comes equipp ed wit h 1 44 MHz capability, an d the
5 0 an d 43 0 MHz ban d mo dules may be a dded a s option s. Po wer input i s 2 0 watt s on all thr ee ban ds.
For sat ellite op erator s, t hr ee sat ellit e bands ar e provi ded, allo wing full dupl ex operation through t he
transverter, using an ext ernal r ec eiv er in a ddition to t he FT- 9 0 1D M . The op erator can transmit on
1 45 MHz whil e li st ening on 29 MHz or 435 MHz, or transmit on 435 MHz w hil e li st ening on 1 45 MHz.
Th e FTV-90 1 R al so incl udes r ep eat er split for 5 0 an d 1 44 MHz, allo wing full use of the FM capability
o f t he FT- 9 0 1 DM . F ully soli d state, the FTV-90 1 R includes prot ection for the final am pli fier
transistors again st damag e caused by high SWR. Spurious ra diation i s at l ea st 6 0 dB down.
