1. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key repeatedly to Clock, Stop Watch, or Thermometer.
2. Press and hold the
[VOL/SEL]
key for one second.
3. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “T# FORMAT”.
4. Press the front panel
►
key momemtarily.
5. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to select the desired format.
6. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key to save the setting.
Setting the Time System (12H or 24H)
1. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key repeatedly to display the Clock, Stop Watch Timer, or Thermometer.
2. Press and hold the
[VOL/SEL]
key for one second.
3. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “T4 12H/24H”.
4. Press the front panel
►
key momentarily.
5. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to the desired Time Format.
6. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key to save the setting and exit to normal operation.
Temperature Display
1. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key repeatedly to Clock, Stop Watch Timer, or Thermometer.
2. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to display the temperature (TMP XX °F).
Programming the CTCSS Frequency (PL)
1. Recall the memory channel where you wish to program the CTCSS (PL) frequency.
2. Press and hold the front panel
►
key for one second.
3. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “M8 SQL TSQF”.
4. Press the front panel
►
key to display the current CTCSS Tone Frequency.
5. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to select the desired CTCSS Tone Frequency.
6. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key to save the new setting. You will be returned to the memory recall
mode.
CTCSS Operation
1. Press and hold the
[VOL/SEL]
key for one second.
2. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “F40 SQL TYPE”.
3. Press the front panel
►
key to select this Menu item.
4. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “TONE SQL”.
5. Press the front panel
►
key.
6. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob counter-clockwise to “F39 SQL TSQF”.
7. Press the front panel
►
key.
8. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to the Tone Frequency you need.
9. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key to save the new settings.
Repeater Operation
Standard Repeater Shift
1. Press and hold
[VOL/SEL]
key for one second.
2. Rotate
DIAL
knob to “F25 RPT MODE”.
