3. Press the front panel

DIAL
knob to the desired offset.
5. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key to save the settings.
Automatic Repeater Shift (ARS)
1. Press and hold the
[VOL/SEL]
key for one second.
2. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “F24 RPT ARS”.
3. Press the front panel
►
key.
4. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “OFF”.
5. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key to save the setting.
Repeater Shift Direction
1. Press and hold the
[VOL/SEL]
key for one second.
2. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “F25 RPT MODE”.
3. Press the front panel
►
key.
4. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to the desired shift (RPTR-, RPTR+, or RPTR OFF).
5. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key to save the setting and exit to normal operation.
Setting the MIC Gain
1. Press and hold the
[VOL/SEL]
key for one second.
2. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to “F19 MIC GAIN”.
3. Press the front panel
►
key.
4. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to select the desired Microphone Gain Level (MIN, LOW, NORMAL, HIGH,
and MAX).
5. Press
the
[VOL/SEL]
key to save the setting and return to normal operation.
Squelch Adjustment
1. On the top panel press the up or down arrow key,
▲
/
▼
, to select
SQL LEVL
. The current
squelch level will be displayed.
2. Press
the
F
function key.
3. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to adjust the squelch level. Adjust the level to where the green
BUSY
light
turns off.
4. Press
the
F
function key to save the new squelch setting. This will also return you to the VFO or
Memory Channel mode you were in.
Transmit Power
1. On the top panel press the up or down arrow key,
▲
/
▼
, to select
TX POWER
.
2. Press
the
F
function key repeatedly to select
your desired transmitting power.
3. Two seconds after selecting the power level,
the new setting is automatically saved and the
radio will return you to the VFO or Memory mode
you were in.
Reset Procedure
1. Turn
radio
off.
2. Press and hold the
[VOL/SEL]
key while turning the radio on.
3. Rotate
the
DIAL
knob to one of the following Reset Menu items:
HIGH
MID
LOW
144 MHz
50W
20W
5W
430 MHz
40W
20W
5W
