Cold Lamination & Thermal Lamination
LOADING THE POUCH
LAMINATING
Pouches are for used for thermal lamination purposes, not to be confused with the
foil application transfer carriers included with your machine. Lamination pouches
are sold separately. For best results, we recommend GBC branded 3mil pouches,
compatible with the GBC Fusion 1100L Laminator.
Take your item to be laminated and place it into the appropriately sized laminating
pouch, ensuring that it is fi rmly located along the sealed edge. This will help
ensure that you get optimal quality input. Before laminating important or unique
documents, always run a test pouch through the laminator using a similar document.
For best results, leave an approximate 0.25” border around your document in the
lamination pouch.
Plug your machine in, and turn the slider to your desired setting. A green light and
beeping sound will indicate when your machine is ready to use. Carefully feed the
pouch, sealed edge fi rst, into the front of the machine as straight as possible. Once
the pouch is in the machine, the rollers will grip it and guide it through. Upon exiting,
remove the laminated item immediately and lay it on a fl at surface to ensure optimal
quality. When you are fi nished laminating, return the slider back to the "
”
position.
In the event of a jam or misfeed, please see the release button instructions on page
4.
