Preparations
3.1. Location
The instrument should be set up at a frost-proof and dry location.
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40 °C.
A distance of at least 20 cm on each side must be maintained for
ventilation, allowing internal heat to be conducted away from the unit.
Wait at least one hour after setting up a unit before placing it into
operation. Mishandling during transport (e.g., laying on side) may have
caused oil to enter the evaporator, capillary tube, or injection valve,
considerably reducing cooling performance
3.2. Bath liquids
1. Xylem Analytics Germany recommends the use of silicone oil or mineral
oil with a maximum viscosity of 30 mm

Notice:
Carefully read the safety data sheet of the bath liquid used, particularly with regard
to the flash point.
Glycol:
- Low toxicity-
Strictly observe the safety data and handling instructions from the manufacturer.
Notice:
No liablity for use with water. Danger of freezing at working temperatures <5 °C.
Do not use distilled or de-ionized water.
