Hints and Tips for Optimal Use:
This model of XY Finder is not a GPS device. It is a Bluetooth device, meaning it is a
short-distance item finder that works using a low-strength radio signal. Your phone uses
its own GPS to remember the last place where this signal was detected.
It is for use with objects that may be misplaced or that need to be found indoors. It is
not intended for use with moving objects, for tracking items long distance, or as an
anti-theft device.
Please check on your XY Finder from time to time and press its button to
make it beep.
The battery may need to be changed occasionally, so a little bit of simple maintenance
will help keep everything running smoothly. XY4+ Finders use a single CR3032 lithium
battery, available most places where batteries are sold.
