Introduction
The XVC-ULTRA Encoder is a streaming appliance enabling users to stream broadcast quality UHD
video with up to 50% bandwidth savings compared to H.264.
The XVC-ULTRA Encoder provides best-in-class HEVC/H.265 and AVC/H.264 video quality of up to
4:2:2 10-bit and sets new industry standards for bit rate and latency.

Testing environment
It is recommended to use a strong PC to decode a 4Kp60 HEVC/AVC stream, especially when
selecting a 4:2:2, 10 bits profile. A strong graphics card can reduce CPU load substantially assuming
the player knows to take advantage of it.
Unsmooth video, packet losses, glitches in audio and video are some of the symptoms of a low
performance PC
