(D) Conditional Access
Amongst the channels that are scanned via ET9000, some channels can be properly tuned in only with the
corresponding Smartcard and/or CAM (Conditional Access Module). ET9000 provides two
Smartcard Reader slots and two Conditional Interface slots and users need to purchase those
Smartcards and CAMs that are required for viewing such subscription based services.
