Seat Belt
Warning
Always check the condition of the seat belt
and mounting hardware before operating
the forklift. If the seat belt or mounting
hardware is defective, it may not properly
restrain the operator, which could result in
death or serious injury.
•
DO NOT operate the forklift until the seat belt or
mounting hardware is replaced, if worn or damaged.
•
The seat belt MUST be worn while operating the
forklift. Failure to wear the seat belt could result in
death or serious injury.
The forklift is equipped with a standard 2” wide retractable
seat belt. A 3” wide retractable seat belt is available where
required by local laws and regulations.

Warning
DO NOT adjust the seat or seat belt while the
forklift is moving. Keep both hands on the
wheel while the forklift is moving to prevent
loss of forklift control which could result in
death or serious injury.
Before starting the engine, adjust the seat for position and
comfort (refer to the Operator Seat section of this manual) and
then adjust the seat belt as follows:
1.
Grasp the free end of the seat belt (located on the left side
of the seat) and make sure the belt webbing is not twisted or
entangled in any portion of the seat assembly.
2.
Pull the retractable seat belt across your lap. Position the
seat belt as low on your body as possible.
3.
Insert the latch plate into the buckle (on the right side of
the seat) until a “click” is heard.
4.
Make sure seat belt retracts snugly across your lap.
Rear View Mirrors
Two (2) adjustable rear view mirrors are provided to aid the
operator’s rear vision.
