The principle of polyfusion welding:
The following description does not substitute valid standards and qualified
personnel training and serves to information purpose only!
The polyfusion welding system allows heating of the outer surface of the pipe
and the inner surface of the matrix up to the requested temperature followed
by inserting both parts into each other, resulting in the solid joint. Prior to this
operation, clean all surfaces from mechanical impurities using a non-synthetic
material cloth. To set the surface of a plastic pipe and matrix, the heating
mirror is used, equipped with extensions of requested dimensions (thorn and
sleeve). After reaching the requested temperature, the thorn is applied to the
neck and the proper pipe size is inserted into the sleeve.
Do not rotate the pipe or matrix during the heating process. After the proper
setup of the interface, remove the pipe and matrix from the adapters and joint
these by inserting simultaneously. Do not exceed the operation time
recommended by the pipe producer. Such period shall be as short as
possible. A mild axial pressure is applied to both components for
approximately 10 seconds. Do not manipulate the joint until completely
cooled down.
8. Cleaning and Maintenance
Do not use metal objects for cleaning of melting surfaces to prevent the
damage of a teflon layer. Make sure to clean using a wooden spatula or non-
synthetic material cloth only. All service shall be carried out by authorized
personnel only.
! Caution !
Run the tool maintenance only when disconnected from the power supply and
completely cooled down (switching off is not enough!). Do not use any
solvents! Avoid all liquids to get in contact with the tool, such as when
cleaning or using in exteriors. The liquid intrusion may result in tool damage.
9. Waste disposal
Products marked with this symbol shall not be disposed along with household
waste. Electric and electronic devices shall be disposed individually. Please,
be aware and seek further proper disposal information.
Doing so will contribute to an environmental protection. Depleted batteries do
not count as household waste and shall be disposed according to rules. The
cover consists of cardboard and plastic which may be recycled. Operational
