1. Direction of rotation switch
SPEED SELECTOR
To switch between two rotation speed values, set the slide switch to one of the
forward/reverse
positions.
CAUTION!
•
Change the speed setting only when the device is at rest. Do not switch until the drill chuck
has come to a complete stop. Internal components of the drill may be damaged.
Before starting the machine, make sure that the speed selector is set all the way to the correct
position. If the speed of the device drops rapidly during operation at the set value "2", set the
switch to position "1" and continue working.
1. Speed selector

Value 1: Lower speed / higher torque
Ideal for tightening screws or drilling with drill bits of
larger diameters.
•
Value 2: Higher speed / lower torque
Ideal for drilling with smaller diameter drills.
TIP!
•
If you are unable to move the switch to the opposite position, try turning the chuck slightly,
or make sure that the working mode pictogram (
drill / hammer symbol
) is aligned with the
center of the arrow on the top of the drill.
