2.   Configure the necessary options. 

 

 

 

Create Backup Options:

 

Name 

– Used this option to enter the backup name. 

NOTE: Duplicate  backup name is not allowed. 

Type 

– Select the type of backup source; for example: Share. 

Backup Method 

– Select the backup method that will be used, such as Tar 

or Rsync. 

Select Shares to backup 

– Select from the list the share folders that will be 

backed up. 

Tar Options:

 

Destination 

– Select the destination  option for the backup. Options 

can be: Local Disk or Remote. Local Disk is an un-used disk drive. 
Remote is a remote CIFS/Samba  share or NFS file system.

NOTE: When a local disk is selected as backup destination,  the 
disk status in Storage/Share
