PIN screen lock preference:

 

 
1.  Go to Menu > Settings > Security > Screen lock > PIN.   
2.  Enter a PIN (between 4-16 characters), tap Next. 
3.  Re-enter the PIN, tap Next. 
4.  The device will require a PIN to unlock next time.   

 

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Password screen lock preference:

 

 
1.  Go to Menu > Settings > Security > Screen lock > Password.   
2.  Enter a Password (between 4-16 characters and at least 1 alphabet letter), tap Next. 
3.  Re-enter the Password, tap Next.
